Continuing from the 9th of December 2022 in Negombo Beach.
We've just arrived in Colombo!
We met Aarya, Radhik, Uncle Anil, Aunty Roshan and Aunty Shanela and we ate lunch all together. Uncle Shanik (Aarya and Radhik's dad) was at work, so he ate lunch before we came.

After a tour of Uncle Anil's house, we went to our apartment! This was the house built by our great great grandparents and where Achie grew up. Mummy spent lots of her childhood here with Loku Achie, Aunty Roshan, Uncle Anil and Shanela.
When we got into the apartment it smelt like sewers!
After that, we went to Uncle Anil's golf club for some food. There was a massive Christmas tree made of fairy lights!
And there was live music!
10th December 2022
Today we went to the National Museum for 1:30 minutes.
Then we went to Barefoot for lunch and looked at all the stuff they had.
Then we went to Cool Planet which was Radhik's favourite toy shop in Sri Lanka, but in they were selling a Lego set for Rs180.000 (£400) and it is £79.99 on Amazon. I liked this toy the most, so I put it on my Christmas list:
After that we went to the Shangri-la hotel in case Orien wanted his birthday there, in the end Orien thought it was a bit TOO posh.
We had nice egg and cheese Godamba Roti( pronounced Gothumba Roti) for dinner.

Today we did science experiments with Aarya and Radhik.
Our favourite one was the super absorbent polymer.
Radhik and I, both sliped from the water on the floor.

Today we had a breakfast with chicken and fish curries and some fried chicken, then we went to Aarya and Radhik house and played some games.
We did archery,
we played badminton,
and we played football.

Today we went to the Gangaramaya Buddhist temple the No.1 best thing to do in Colombo according to Tripadvisor!

Today it was Orien's birthday and he read all our cards and I accidentally spoiled the surprise of one of his only presents.
We had dosa in the morning, then in the afternoon we went to have afternoon tea with Aunty Shanela, Uncle Shanik, Aunty Roshan, Uncle Anil,
Aarya and Radhik.
then in the afternoon Orien and I did Learning Circle on his birthday!!!

Today we played Avatar Legends because it came out that day.
After that, we played with Aarya and Radhik.

Today we went to Aarya and Radhik's house and we did archery, we started a Peries family tree on paper and we wanted to do one on the computer tomorrow.
At the end of the day the four of us went to cafe on the fifth and had godamba roti, crab and rice.

Today I got some new glasses, ate at curry box all the curries were cold, but still nice!
I played badminton with Aarya and we got some of Mummy's clothes cut and we went to see our relitives on Seeya's side.

Today we went to Aunty Romia's ESTATE and we met Mario, Aunty Romia, Imara and Uncle Shivaji.
We saw some fish, some chickens and some art on the walls of the house.
We also played with billiards, played football and basketball.

Today it was Uncle Anil's birthday so we went to Uncle Anil's house and we ate crab for lunch!
We had got him a rubix cube magic set!

Today we spent most of the day doing the Family Tree.
Uncle Anil also taught us how too use a sling shot.
23 December 2022
Today we spent most of the day doing the family tree, but in the night Mummy went to a Christmas party happening in Aunty Shanela's house! Uncle Anil and Aunty Roshan came to the party for a minute but thought it was way TOO loud!

Today it was Christmas Eve!
We went to Aarya and Radhik's house and read The Empty Stocking (A book that we brought from London).
Then we had roast chicken for dinner.

Today was Christmas Day!
We opened some of our presents, then went to St. Mary's Church with Aarya, Radhik, Uncle Anil, Aunty Roshan, Aunty Shanela and Uncle Shanik, then we went back to our apartment to finish opening all our presents!
Both of us got a teddy from Father Christmas.
I got a Penguin and Orien got a monkey.
We got a Kindle Paperwhite )A Kindle Paperwhite is a reading device.)
I got a playmobil History set of Hephaestus
Orien got some Flip-flops from Waves that were too big for him.
This is the Nativity Play in St. Mary's Church
Then we went to Uncle Anil's and we all gave each other our presents to them!
Aunty Shanela got us some each some cookies and a toy Tuk Tuk.
We got Aarya a Harry Potter backpack and a Loom Bands thing to make your own bracelets.
And we got Radhik a space shuttle LEGO city set.
Aunty Shehani got a tarts set for Aarya and Radhik.
After that, Santa came (It was actually Uncle Anil with a pillow inside him to make him look fat!)
Then we ate lunch.
Then we did the Family Tree while the adults were talking at the same time as drinking their wine, beer or medicine (arrack).
26th of December 2022
Today we went to see Mummy's old house which she lived in when she was little and we ate Lamprais, then we went in Uncle Shanik's Toyota Hilux for the second time and we drove to an old lighthouse which used to be under water but when the Chinese built port city you can climb it again. And we had a hair cut.
27th of Dcember 2022
Today Aarya and Radhik were coming to our apartment to go swimming, but the pool was closed! After that we drove to Aarya and Radhik's house bye a very nice man called Goodson who's going to take us to Galle tomorrow ate dosa (the same dish that we went to on Orien's birthday)
28th of December
We were going to Galle today so we went to Aarya and Radhik's house and said goodbye, we ate poke bowls for breakfast. Radhik had to go to hospital because sombody pushed him of a bouncy castle! Goodson drove us to Galle and he charged 2100 Sri Lankan Rupees. click here to continue the adventure in Galle.
